Thermal waters

The thermal water of San Filippo, which comes out of the source at a temperature of 52 ° C, is classified as a hyperthermal sulfur-sulphate-bicarbonate, enriched with natural mud and is particularly suitable for balneotherapy, mud-balneotherapy, inhalations, treatment of osteo diseases -neuro-articular, ear, nose and throat diseases, in diseases of the respiratory system and in dermatological diseases.

Thermal baths are just a few meters from the Bed and Breakfast BBBagni but for lovers of care in natural surroundings it is possible to plunge in the "wonders" of the Fosso Bianco free bath of Bagni San Filippo.

Thermal waters at Bagni San Filippo created a magical landscape of white limestone formations, waterfalls and small pools of hot water in the midst of a lush green forest reachable with a short walk from the bed and breakfast located at no.41 in heart of the old village.

There are several puddles and limestone formations; you can also see the famous waterfall and bathe in the white sulphurous waters. Through an evocative pedestrian path immersed in the green of the bush, in fact, you reach the Balena Bianca waterfall, accompanied by the rustling of water.

Access to the entire Fosso Bianco area is free.

The Waterfall so named for the resemblance to the mouth of a whale, is the most suggestive limestone formation of the Fosso Bianco. Here flow the waters that flow at 48º from the source not far away, guaranteeing such a high temperature to allow bathing even out of season.
